She believes creative impact and business impact are not unrelated. Great creative work drives business. She has led her team to create the kind of work that cannot be ignored on the world-stage.
In 2015, she led her team to create Beauty Tips By Reshma, a campaign to enforce the ban on the open sale of acid. The campaign where a real-life acid attack victim came out to give beauty tips to the world, shook up the world.
A campaign set out to get 25,000 signatures, got over 3,00,000 signatures. Done at zero-budget, this campaign got covered by publications like PEOPLE, THE NEW YORK TIMES, TIME MAGAZINE and THE HUFFINGTON POST.
The campaign brought home ONE SHOW GOLD, 2 D&ADS and 2 CANNES GOLDS, including Ogilvy India’s first Glass Lion, an award given for the best work in gender-related causes.
In 2016, the prestigious D&AD IMPACT award was announced. An award given to work created for social impact. BEAUTY TIPS BY RESHMA went on to win in the first year of D&AD IMPACT.
In November 2016, she worked with her team to launch Savlon Healthy Hands campaign. They designed special chalks for schools in rural India. These chalks were infused with soap powder so that kids don’t need additional soap to wash their hands before meals. Preventing them from falling ill and missing school.
A project that started in 100 schools, has now being implemented in more than 5000 schools across India.
2 CANNES GOLDS, 1 SILVER, 4 BRONZES and 2 D&ADS were brought home in 2017.
This campaign also won 2 D&AD IMAPCT awards for EDUCATIONAL AND HUMANITARIAN WORK.
SABRE AWARDS 2017 has recognized Savlon Healthy Hands chalk sticks as one of the 10 BEST PR campaigns.
In 2018, Savlon Healthy Hands campaign won India’s first Grand Prix for Creative Effectiveness.
She has taught THE CRAFT OF WRITING at the India branch of THE MIAMI AD SCHOOL.
If you ask her how she would describe her work, she would say, “Brave.”
